About Katrina Dela Cruz Sacayanan
Katrina’s main area of practice is Personal Injury Protection (PIP)/No-Fault litigation. She was a law clerk for the firm prior to becoming an attorney where she conducted legal research and assisted in creating a research database on issues surrounding PIP litigation and insurance defense. As a judicial extern, Katrina prepared draft opinions for the Honorable Ivan Fernandez of the Florida Third District Court of Appeal. While working as a legal intern at the consumer protection office of the Florida Attorney General, she conducted legal research and assisted in civil investigations relating to Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act. While in law school, Katrina worked at Florida International University (FIU) Law Immigration and Human Rights clinic where she represented clients in matters such as cancellation of removal, asylum, and adjustment of status. Katrina was also a member of moot court, where she was a semi-finalist at the International Price Media Moot Court Competition in Oxford University and also received the FIU Outstanding Oral Advocacy Skills Award. She also received the Book Award for Florida Law and Procedure.
