Ms. Kaszuba was born in Chicago, Illinois to Ukrainian immigrants, but Florida has been her home since 1978. She graduated from Largo High School and later attended The University of Miami and University of South Florida (Tampa) where she graduated in 1992 with a double major, a B.S. in Political Science and a B.
A. in Russian. Prior to graduation, Ms. Kaszuba was one of the first students to travel abroad with USF in the summer of 1991 to the former Soviet Union for intensive study in the Russian language at the Moscow Linguistic University in Moscow, Russia. She received her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in St.
Petersburg, Florida. While attending law school, Ms. Kaszuba was a member of the Stetson International Moot Court team, Secretary of the International Law Society, and taught Trial Advocacy as an Adjunct Assistant to Professor Colonel Eleazor. She was also awarded 1st place in the Stetson First Annual Ironwoman competition.
During the first four years of her practice, Ms. Kaszuba worked with St. Arnold & Stearns, Chartered, in Dunedin, Florida, in the areas of family law and civil litigation. Thereafter she branched into a position as in-house corporate legal counsel for Ozona Management Corporation, at which time she also performed intensive stock market research analysis for the local stock market investment company.
Yearning to get back into trial practice, Ms. Kaszuba transferred to the firm of Buddy D. Ford, P.A. in Tampa, where she practiced for 4 years in the areas of family law, business litigation and consumer bankruptcy. From 2007 to October, 2010, Ms. Kaszuba was employed with The Solomon Law Group, P.
A. in Tampa, where she became a Partner, with a focus primarily in family law and creditor bankruptcy. In 2010, Ms. Kaszuba became Board Certified in Marital and Family Law. In 2015, she was re-certified in Marital and Family Law. She enjoys an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Ms. Kaszuba continued to have a strong desire to relocate her practice closer to her home and family in Pinellas County where she has resided since law school and was both elated and flattered when Mr Koch asked her to join the firm in 2010.
In 2012, she became a Partner. Ms. Kaszuba’s devotion to the practice of Marital and Family Law and the legal community has earned her recognition in the Super Lawyers of 2015 magazine for her field. She is a member of The Florida Bar, a member of the 2015-16 Legislation Committee of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Clearwater Bar Association.
Ms. Kaszuba was appointed to serve on the Judicial Nominating Committee for the Sixth Judicial Circuit for the 2013-2016 term, as well as the Sixth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee-Group 6C for the 2015-2018 term. Additional community involvement includes serving as Executive Chair of the Canakaris Inn of Court for 2014-2015; Leadership Pinellas Class of 2012; and former Adjunct Professor in Family Law for Paralegal Studies at St.
Petersburg College. She has also been a guest speaker at a variety of seminars in the area of family law and has authored articles in the Clearwater Bar Associations’ Res Ipsa Loquitur and co-authored materials presented at the annual American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Board Certification Review Course.
In her spare time, she really enjoys fishing, diving, boating, running/exercise and traveling.
