About Kimberly Acevedo

Expertise | Success | Reputation Ms. Kimberly Acevedo received her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in May 2017. In May 2011, Ms. Acevedo earned a Bachelor of Science from Florida International University, along with a Minor in Psychology, and an Academic Certificate in Law, Ethics, and Society.

She is the recipient of various academic scholarships and several awards, including Dean’s List Honors and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in both Property Law and Family Law, awarded to the student with the top grade in the class. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Acevedo worked for Mr Joseph Rosenbaum as a paralegal for ten years.

During this time, she developed an intricate understanding of what it takes to effectively work a case from intake through trial. A person charged with a crime is not just fighting for their liberty. They fight for their good name, piece of mind, and in many respects – their life.
