About Lee Taylor Mercado

Helping people through the most difficult times of their lives is my passion and commitment. As a criminal defense attorney, I have been defending client's constitutional rights for over 17 1/2 years, and I've personally tried over 112 jury trials.  With my vast experience in the courtroom, I can navigate you through the various stages of the process smoothly.

As a family law attorney, I am committed to making the process of divorce as painless as possible.  Because I am a foster parent, I offer a unique understanding of the heartache children endure due to separation from a parent.  I emphasize to all of my clients the importance of putting their children first.

Whether a criminal charge or a family law matter, the cornerstones of my representation are thorough preparation and being accessible to my clients. I earned my Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida School of Law in 1994 and my Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, in 1984.
