Lori Adelson has extensive experience representing both private and public sector employers in the area of employment law. She provides legal advice and litigation defense support to company management, human resources professionals and other business partners regarding labor and employment matters that impact their business, such as compensation and benefits, governmental investigations and audits, wage and hour compliance, human resources policies and procedures, employee hiring, discipline and discharge, employee handbooks and contracts, statutory and regulatory compliance, discrimination avoidance, education and training, and risk management.

Ms. Adelson also provides dispute resolution services including mediation, arbitration and neutral fact finding. She also counsels business owners on ADA accessibility and compliance. Prior to joining KDV, Ms. Adelson practiced with a national law firm before founding a boutique labor and employment office, Adelson Law Firm, where she concentrated her practice solely on employment and business matters for employers.

Ms. Adelson regularly lectures on labor and employment law issues at a variety of organizations including bar associations, and national and local human resources associations. She is often quoted as an employment law expert in national and local publications and news sources.
