Lovecia Holmes-Oglesby is an Associate Attorney at Aronfeld Trial Lawyers. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Lovecia later moved to Miami, FL at the age of 18 to attend college at Florida International University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Following her graduation, she obtained an AA in Paralegal Studies and completed her course with high honors.
After becoming a Certified Paralegal, Lovecia gained extensive experience and knowledge in the legal field working as a paralegal for a firm focusing on worker’s compensation and foreclosure litigation cases. In 2012 she attended Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad School of Law, during which she was chosen to compete in the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition and successfully advanced to multiple rounds of the trial.
While studying law she also served as a LexisNexis Associate, assisting law students with research navigation in the highly regarded LexisNexis research database. In addition to gaining substantial experience within the area of legal research, Lovecia worked as an intern at the office of the Attorney General in the Consumer Protection Division.
In 2016 Lovecia was admitted to practice law in Florida. Her primary area of practice is personal injury where she manages the firm’s Maritime Injury cases against industry giants such as Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian Cruise Line.
