About Luciane Florencio MacArthur Tavares

Luciane Tavares is focused in the areas of immigration and business law. She has been practicing immigration law since December of 2012, and has handled a wide variety of complex immigration cases, including business and family based petitions, appeals, removals and deportation proceedings. Most of her clients consist of small to large size companies and individuals who are located in Florida; however, she has also represented clients from Washington, D.

C., Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Louisiana, Portugal and Brazil. She has presented at seminars on the topic of immigration law, and has been featured as the guest speakers at several events. She has also been invited to provide and has provided documentary interviews of ways to live, work and study in the United States.

Some of her articles on the topic of immigration law have been published in magazines and newspapers. Luciane Tavares graduated law school with honors in litigation from Barry School of Law; she is also a graduate of the University of Central Florida with bachelors in Accounting. She is a member of the Florida Bar, New York Bar, New Jersey Bar and Illinois Bar.

She is also a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association Young Lawyers, and New Jersey State Bar Association Young Lawyers. She is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. She works at American Immigration Associates LLC, located in Illinois, offices in Chicago and Orlando.
