Margaret Rowell Good is an associate with the law firm of Matthews Eastmoore. She received her law degree, with honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she also received Book Awards in Legislation & Regulation, Growth Management, Legal Research & Writing, and Electronic Discovery.
As a law student, she served as an editor of the Florida Law Review, as a law student liaison to the ABA Section of State and Local Government Law, and as a governor to The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Law Student Division. She was a teaching assistant for Legal Research & Writing and Appellate Advocacy and a research assistant for Professors Robert W.
Emerson, Amy R. Mashburn and Philip Kabler. Her article, "Loyalty to the Process: Advocacy and Ethics in the Age of E-Discovery" won the 2012 FLMIC E-Discovery Writing Competition and is published in the June 2012 issue of The Florida Bar Journal. She also worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Susan H.
Black at the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Margaret serves on the Board of Governors for The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, as well as on the boards of the Sarasota County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and the Sarasota Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. She is the treasurer of the Judge John M.
Scheb Inn of Court and is a member of the Manatee County Bar Association and the Junior League of Sarasota. She is an avid, passionate runner and promotes the sport as a member of the Manasota Track Club Board of Directors.
