Ms. Thomas currently practices Family Law cases in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and occassionally Manatee Counties.  Maurine A. Thomas was born in New York but has lived as well in New Jersey and Texas, and eventually relocated with her family to Tampa, Florida.  She graduated from high school in the Tampa Bay Area before attending the University of Florida in Gainesville.

   As a graduate of Stetson Law School in Gulfport, Florida she had the opportunity to serve as an Ambassador and took specialty classes in the area of Family Law. Ms. Thomas has worked exclusively in the Family Law realm for over 10 years.  She has worked with Legal Aid, Guardian ad Litem and private practice.

   Her passion is helping parents, families and individuals through the difficult time in their lives.  She works vigorously for the best outcome possible while keeping in mind her clients wishes. While Ms. Thomas enjoys helping her clients and her families she also enjoys spending time with her own family, especially her small children, and husband.

  She supports her community through volunteer work including her church, Girl Scouts and as an Attorney ad Litem. Education: B.A. Degree, University of Florida. Juris Doctorate Degree, Stetson University, College of Law.
