Max's practice focusses on elder law, specifically guardianship, probate administration and litigation, health care issues, public benefits, wills, trusts, and estate planning and litigation, financial exploitation, and appeals. Aditionally, Max has incorporated animal law in the firm's daily practice and carefully crafts animal care trusts to protect all members of a client's family.
Because of his family's history in the armed forces, Max also works with veterans' legal issues and is an accredited VA attorney. As an individual with epilepsy, he understands the costly issues facing many families, and happily works with clients on creating "life plans." Outside of his elder law practice, Max also helps clients with the Florida election law issues, including finance and communications compliance, setting up political committees for candidates, and assisting with campaign finance issues.
Max has advocated for clients in both circuit and appellate courts throughout the State of Florida, successfully working on motions for summary judgment, appellate briefs, and neogtiating with opposing counsel to craft favorable settlement agreements. Max received his Juris Doctor, Masters of Science in American Politics and Policy, and BA in history and international affairs from Florida State University.
When not at the office, Max happily spends time with his Pembroke Welsh Corgi, tabby cat, travels, and loyally, though sometimes sadly, follows international soccer, Tottenham Hotspurs, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Penguins hockey, Orlando City SC, and Miami Marlins.
