Michael A. Harris is a Board Certified Immigration Attorney, certified by the Florida Bar as an expert in his field. Mr Harris received his Juris Doctor Degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Law, and spent two years at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., before he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and English from the University of Florida.
Prior to practicing law, Mr Harris spent 7 years working for distinguished immigration law firms. He was educated and trained by the leading U.S. experts and authors in Immigration Law. He has a significant amount of experience taking part in the representation of complicated immigration cases for investors, executives, acclaimed artists and athletes, academic professors, and multinational industry companies.
He has experience in nearly every employment-based category, including tempoary nonimmigrant visas for E-1/E-2 Treaty Traders and Investors; H-1B Specialty and Professional Workers; L-1 Multinational Visas; O-1 Visas for Extraordinary Ability Persons; P-1 Visas for Entertainers and Athletes; as well as employment-based green cards for EB-1s who are also extraordinary ability persons, multinational managers/executives; EB-2 Advanced Degree, Exceptional Persons, and National Interest Waivers; Labor Certifications; and more.
Today, Mr Harris is a specialist in Immigration Law and practices in all matters concerning immigration, with national recognition in the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. Mr Harris has been the lead immigration counsel to many regional center projects in a variety of industries and states around the country.
The capital stacks of the proposed projects represented by Mr Harris have been valued at over $1 billion.
