Miguel A. Coder is a Managing Partner at Florida Accident Law. His vision is to create a firm that focuses on traumatic and severe injuries with an emphasis on lower volume and higher quality cases. Before founding Florida Accident Law, Mr Coder worked for two prestigious firms in the local market. His primarily dedicated his practice to helping those injured and seeking justice for his client.
He focuses on litigation and is in charge of the higher end pre-litigation cases at the firm. He graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Finance from the Eli Broad College of Business. He later went on to obtain his Juris Doctor at Nova Southeastern University. He remains active with Nova Southeastern, he gives lectures on Insurance Law and sits on a yearly panel that speaks to new students about summer opportunities.
During his time at Nova Southeastern University, Mr Coder traveled to Vienna, Austria for the Vis Moot Court International Arbitration Competition. He also served as the Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant to Professor Steven Wisotsky. Professor Wisotsky focused his areas of practice in White Collar Crime and Appellate Law.
Under Professor Wisotskyi’s guidance, Mr Coder drafted numerous appellate briefs that were heard and argued in both the Third District Court of Appeal and Fourth District Court of Appeal. He also drafted a Habeas Brief in the Federal Court of Appeals for the Southern District. Mr Coder is fluent in Spanish and English.
He has an extensive cultural background which translates into forming close relationships with his clients. Mr Coder is a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to practice in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He dedicates his career to seeking justice for those wronged due to the negligence of others.
