About Mindy Stein

I bring a unique perspective to the practice of elder and disability law, with over fifteen years experience as a clinical social worker working with vulnerable individuals and their families in community, hospital and long-term care settings. Prior to earning my Juris Doctor from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Clark University and my Masters in Social Work degree from Columbia University School of Social Work.

My experience working with diverse vulnerable populations as a social worker prepared me for the unique blend of social, familial, financial and medical circumstances that accompanies every client. I complete a comprehensive assessment of each individual before working collaboratively with my client, the client's family members, and applicable service providers, to develop a customized plan that is practical, realistic and appropriate for the client and the client's family.
