About Misa A. Everist

Misa A. Everist concentrates her practice in the areas of estate and trust administration and litigation, strategic estate planning, and contested adoption and child custody litigation. She began her career as a Florida state prosecutor in Pinellas and Seminole Counties where she served as an Assistant State Attorney gaining valuable jury trial experience.

During her time as a prosecutor, she served as a felony trial attorney, crimes against children and sexual abuse prosecutor, drug interdiction and white-collar crimes specialist, lead trial attorney of a misdemeanor division, and a delinquency prosecutor. She taught at the St. Petersburg Police Academy and was an instructor at the Pinellas County Boot Camp.
