About Octavio Luis Martinez

I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and I am also fluent in Spanish. I obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Miami in 1989, and a Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in 1992.  I passed the Florida Bar and was admitted to practice in 1992.

  I began my legal career doing construction litigation, commercial litigation, and insurance defense.   After forming my own law firm I represented numerous clients in the areas of commercial disputes, real estate matters, bankruptcy and foreclosure cases. I have also been active as a real estate investor/developer, aside from practising law.

  This has allowed me to bring a common sense approach to the case I handle on behalf of my clients, obtaining maximum results in the most cost effective manner.
