About Omid Ghaffari-Tabrizi
Omid Ghaffari-Tabrizi grew up right outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota, before moving to Boca Raton, Florida. A magnet student in the International Baccalaureate program at Atlantic High School in Delray Beach, he was President of the Asian Culture Club, a member of the National Honor Society, as well as a member of the Spanish National Honor Society.
After graduating with honors, he couldn’t leave the sunshine of South Florida and chose to attend the University of Miami as a Henry King Stanford Scholar. He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in International Marketing and Finance at the accelerated pace of three years. Based on Mr Ghaffari-Tabrizi’s academic achievements, he was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship to attend the University of Miami School of Law.
He served as Treasurer of the Cardozo Jewish Legal Society while also participating in Moot Court competitions every year he attended. He was honored with multiple awards and accolades, including the Best Brief Award and the Kurt Marmar Award, the latter of which was awarded to him by his peers in recognition for being the best competitor in the Advanced Moot Court competition.
He was also selected to represent the University of Miami in the St. John’s University Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition in New York City, where he was recognized for having the highest Oral Advocacy score among the team. Having been admitted to the Florida Bar, Mr Ghaffari-Tabrizi has sharpened his litigation skills with the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office and gained experience in the private business sector, working as Director of Sales and Marketing and Assistant to Counsel for an international technology-based company.
His unique background gives him the ability to appreciate your needs while viewing your case from multiple perspectives. An avid fan of the creative arts, Mr Ghaffari-Tabrizi enjoys spending time reading, writing, and listening to music of all genres and cultures.
