About Paula Sofie Buzzi

Paula represents international and domestic clients in all aspects of general corporate and commercial real estate matters. Prior to joining Alvarez Arrieta & Diaz-Silveira LLP, Paula was an associate at a Fort Lauderdale-based law firm, where she focused on corporate and commercial real estate matters – with a particular focus on fixed-based aviation transactions and multi-million dollar commercial real estate transactions involving properties in Florida and the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

In 2015, Paula was named a finalist for the Top Dealmaker of the Year—Corporate Finance award by the Daily Business Review for her work in advising a fixed-based aviation operator as borrower’s counsel in obtaining a $260 million multi-bank syndication loan. Paula received a B.A. in Political Science and Journalism from the University of North Carolina in 2009 and graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in 2013.

While attending law school, Paula served as a senior desk officer of the Impunity Watch International Law Journal. Paula is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida. She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Swedish and French.
