About Peter Alan Quinter

Peter Quinter is the Chair of the Customs and International Trade Law Group at GrayRobinson, P.A..   He is Board Certified as an expert in International Law by the Florida Bar. His expertise includes  providing advice and representation to persons and companies involved in the international supply chain,  such as  importers, exporters, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.

  He strategically counsels companies to prevent or resolve difficulties with United States Government law enforcement and regulatory agencies, especially the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). A former U.S. Customs attorney with 15+ years in private practice,  he has experience helping importers and exporters get seized merchandise released by U.

S. Customs, reducing penalties issued by U.S. Customs' Fines, Penalties, and Forfeitures Office, providing export compliance advice to companies which may include submitting disclosures to or negotiating settlements for export violations with the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), and litigating customs broker licensing or tariff classification cases in the United States Court of International Trade.
