As head of a law practice, Mr Previti specializes in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, including financing and lending transactions associated therewith, as well as business, probate and estate planning. With thirty-five (35) years of law experience in South Florida, Mr Previti is an expert in the creation of contracts and resolution of contractual disputes and the management of both simple and complex transactional matters.
He regularly represents real estate developers, purchasers, sellers, business owners and lenders in both residential and commercial transactions. In the area of real estate, Mr Previti has extensive closing experience as well as landlord/tenant relationships and related issues, as both an owner and tenant representative.
In the business arena, Mr Previti has served as legal counsel for many small, medium and large businesses in matters relating to compliance and liability issues, the formation and structuring of business enterprises and licensing. He also handles contractual matters associated with business transfers and internal relationships.
As a former Executive Director of Dade County Higher Educational Facilities Authority (HEFA), Mr Previti was involved in the issuance of tax-free bonds issued by various colleges and universities. He is a founding partner of Puyanic & Previti, and then Previti & Previti, and now heads a law firm located in South Miami, with one partner and four secretaries.
Born in New York, Mr Previti came to South Florida in 1960 where he attended and graduated from the University of Miami, with a Bachelor of Arts in finance and business and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami's School of Law. He previously served as President of South Miami Hometown, Inc.
