About Richard Brian Perlman

After a successful family law practice in the Philadelphia area for 20 years, I headed south in 1996 to become certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Family Mediator in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. I generally mediate between 50 and 100 cases per year with about an 85% settlement rate. I have found the field of alternative dispute resolution to be especially satisfiying and enjoy interacting with my fellow members of the area bar associations both as a mediator and frequent speaker on issues pertaining to family law and mediation.
