I concentrate my practice in two primary areas of the law: estate planning and complex commercial litigation.  I have practiced in both of these areas since opening my own practice in New York City in 1994. I began my career as a felony prosecutor with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, followed by several years in my own practice, during which I was a frequent guest commentator on Court TV.

I have extensive trial and litigation experience through which I have developed skills that I also bring to the Estate Planning arena.  Although none of the Estate Plans I have developed for my clients have ever resulted in litigation, I have litigated many Probate matters and I am sensitive to family dynamics and the pitfalls of poor planning.

  I listen carefully to my clients and strive to meet each of their goals, whether it is creating a lasting legacy for their families, or pursuing their disputes in a judicious and timely manner. As a partner at The Kopelowitz Ostrow Firm, I oversee the Estate Planning Division, however, our firm provides many legal services to our clients including commercial transactions and litigation, class actions, employment matters, personal injury and medical malpractice matters, family law matters and appeals.
