Dr. Richard Gendler holds four graduate degrees including a Doctor of Juridical Science (J.S.D.) A J.S.D. is the Ph.D. equivalent for law and is the most advanced law degree in the United States. Additionally, Dr. Gendler holds a Master of Taxation (MT.X.), a Masters of Laws (LL.M.), and Doctorate of Jurisprudence (J.
D.). In Addition to practicing law, Dr. Gendler serves as a law and ethics profeossor at the Florida Atlantic Univerduty College of Business, a part time magistrate for Palm Beach County, as well as an adjunct professor at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He has written and published a number of scholarly articles in academic and professional journals on topical issues of law, as well as co-authored a widely circulated textbook on the essentials of forensic accounting.
Over the years Dr. Gendler has been interviewed by all of the local major television networks, including ABC Channel 10, NBC Channel 6, CBS Channel 4, Fox Channel 7, Telemundo Channel 51 and Telemiami Channel 22. His commentaries have also been cited to in the Miami Herald, EL Nuevo Herald, Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel, New Times, and the St.
Augustine Record. Dr. Gendler’s bar admissions include the Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Tax Court.
