About Robert John Varkonyi

I began my career on a lab bench, working on genetic tracking of rare diseases, followed by cancer research analyzing the ends of chromosomes.  After graduating from law school, I began working for an IP botique, working for universities and small businesses. I then obtained my Master's degree after prosecuting numerous pharamceutical inventions, and finding enjoyment in those technologies.

I love the competitiveness of playing ice hockey. After years of playing hockey in Tampa Bay, I'm still dumbfounded by the fun one can have while simultaneously getting great amounts of exercise. I also enjoy building models, "the exactness, the attention to every conceivable detail." (Alan Rickman, Die Hard, 1988) especially classic cars, and enjoying the beautiful lines of an old muscle car or rare halo car without breaking the bank or needing an extra space in the garage.

 And of course a good movie at the end of the week.
