About Ross Abramowitz
Ross Abramowitz is an experienced Fort Lauderdale personal injury attorney in the Personal Injury Protection and Bodily Injury fields. He has been practicing personal injury law in South Florida since 2009 and has gained invaluable experience both in and out of the courtroom from negotiating with insurance companies to litigating personal injury cases. Prior to starting his own firm, Abramowitz worked as an associate attorney at Shuster & Saben, LLC. During his time at Shuster & Saben, he handled over five-hundred Personal Injury Protection cases, as well as countless personal injury and foreclosure defense cases. Abramowitz has numerous published opinions in Florida Law Weekly, and he has been successful in collecting millions of dollars in Personal Injury Protection benefits for doctors in South Florida who have been wrongfully denied compensation by the insurance companies. He has also helped injured individuals recover hundreds of thousands of dollars for their injuries. Prior to starting his career as an attorney, Abramowitz obtained his Bachelor’s degree in both Political Science and History from Rutgers University(opens in a new tab). While attending Rutgers, he was elected Secretary of his graduating class, received numerous awards for outstanding academic achievement and graduated at the top of his class. Ross is admitted to practice law in Florida, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Ross is the President-elect for the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association and President of the Soref JCC. Additionally, Ross’s demonstrated excellence in the practice of law has earned him the title of “Super Lawyer ” for 2017, 2018, and 2019 and he is among the 2.5 percent of attorneys within the state of Florida to be selected to the Florida Rising Stars list. When Ross is not practicing law, he enjoys scuba diving and other outdoor activities, as well as volunteering in the local community. He has been scuba certified for over 17 years and has completed dives all over the world. Ross assists in planning the Humanitarian of the Year dinner each year, which is the largest annual fundraiser for the Wecare Food Pantry, located in Plantation, Florida.
