About Scott Edward Gwartney

Scott Gwartney was raised in Tallahassee, and graduated from The Florida State University College of Law.  His entire legal career has been based from his Tallahassee law offices, although he is a multi-state licensed attorney (FL, GA, TN, TX and VA).  He focuses his practice on medical litigation, with a primary focus on hospital claims and nursing home claims, working in courts throughout the states of Florida and Georgia.

Medical claims are highly complex, and require a full understanding of the medicine, the standards of care required of health care providers, and the law that applies.  The catastrophic injuries that can result from medical negligence require the experience of an attorney who has handled such claims many times before.
