I am Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law. That means I have been recognized by the Florida Bar as an expert in Criminal Trial practice. Before opening my own practice, the Law Office of Spencer Cordell, P.A., I worked for Brown, Suarez, & Rios, the largest criminal defense firm in SW Fla. Before I was a defense attorney, I worked as a prosecutor at the State Attorney's Office for the 20th Judicial Circuit.

I practice not only Criminal Defense, but also Appeals, Personal Injury, and traffic. I handle all types of Criminal cases, and have extensive experience handling DUI cases. The case was overturned on appeal based on my motion to dismiss under Florida's 'Castle Doctrine' portion of the Stand Your Ground Law.  The court ordered a rehearing on the motion, which we won, and my client was exonerated of the charges.
