About Susan Roeder Martin

Susan Roeder Martin is a senior specialist attorney with the South Florida Water Management District. She is an expert in environmental resource permit issues and administrative law.  Ms. Martin graduated from the University of Florida College of Law, with honors.  She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Florida Atlantic University.

  Ms. Martin in Board Certified in State and Federal Government and Administrative Practice.  She is also accredited by the Green Building Certification Institute as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Professional. Ms. Martin has three articles published in the Florida Bar Journal on Water Quality Credit Trading, a Regulator’s Perspective; Addressing Environmental Resource Permit Issues Prior to Closing on Real Property; and Protection of the Bald Eagle After Delisting.

  She also has several treatises published in the Environmental and Land Use Law Section Treatise and numerous articles published in the Environmental and Land Use Law Section Reporter.  She is a frequent speaker throughout the state on environmental resource issues.
