Susan Stromberg joined Older Lundy Alvarez & Koch in 2017 to develop and oversee a forensic accounting and financial discovery department within the firm’s Marital and Family Law practice. After strategically growing the firm’s Financial Analysis and Support Team (FAST), Susan became Chief Operating Officer for Older Lundy Alvarez & Koch in 2020.
A critical thinker and creative problem solver with a soft spot for logistics and organization, Susan met the operations role head on, and works alongside CEO Michael Lundy and CFO Brian Lefferts to ensure the firm’s day-to-day administrative and operational functions. Before joining Older Lundy Alvarez & Koch, Susan was a staff attorney with the Thirteenth and Fourth Judicial Circuits and has over twelve years’ experience researching and writing for the Courts.
She worked with numerous well-respected Judges and obtained invaluable insight into the judicial decision-making process. Susan helped organize and manage the Circuit Court’s specialized Post-Conviction Relief Division in Hillsborough County, and in recognition for her work received the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit’s Innovative Award.
Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Sewanee – The University of the South, her Master of Business Administration from Stetson University, and her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law. While in law school, Susan served as the Recent Developments Editor for Stetson Law Review, and was the recipient of the Outstanding Local Government Law School Student Award from The City, County, and Local Government Law Section of the Florida Bar and the Outstanding Editor Award from Stetson Law Review.
Susan has been published in The Florida Bar Journal, Stetson Law Review, and by Women’s eNews.
