About Waynice A. Green
Waynice Green is an Attorney at Perera Barnhart, P.A. She is responsible for prosecuting the firm’s cases against employers which engage in unlawful employment practices in both State and Federal courts throughout Florida. Upon admission to the Florida Bar, Waynice worked as an associate for a boutique labor and employment firm in downtown Miami, where she represented claimants in various types of employment-related disputes. As a litigation associate at Pacin, Levine, P.A., she continues to represent her clients in claims for unpaid wages, discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wrongful termination and workers’ compensation, as well as assisting injured claimants in the firm’s personal injury division. Waynice obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Rutgers College in New Jersey and thereafter completed her Juris Doctor degree at Fordham University School of Law in New York. She commenced her legal career as a true public servant, representing indigent individuals on behalf of Legal Aid and the Public Defender in New York and New Jersey. She has always been passionate about advocating for the civil rights of individuals throughout the United States and abroad. This fervor began in law school and persisted into her modern-day practice as a majority of her work encompasses championing for the civil rights of employees in the workplace. Though she is a self-proclaimed Jersey girl, Waynice has come to appreciate the tropical weather that comes with living in south Florida. She enjoys traveling to other countries, completing obstacle course races, partaking in Sunday brunches with friends, and spending time with her family and maltipom, Zahra. Waynice is licensed to practice in the State of New York, as well as the Federal Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. She is a member of the Miami-Dade County Bar Association, Broward County Bar Association, Florida Association of Women Lawyers, American Bar Association, and the Jamaican American Bar Association.
