About Whitney Christine Glaser
Whitney C. Glaser has resided in Bradenton since 1971. She has more than 26 years of legal experience as a solo practitioner, associate, and partner with firms in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Ms. Glaser currently practices in the areas of estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and guardianship. During her legal career, she has also handled personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and employment discrimination claims. She has also represented small business owners and individuals in contract negotiations and other legal matters, including family law. Ms. Glaser has taught since 2008 as an adjunct instructor in the paralegal and business programs at State College of Florida. Her courses have included civil litigation, law office management, personal injury law, business law, and international business law. Ms. Glaser also coordinates the paralegal student internship program. A Bayshore High School alumna (class of 1984), Ms. Glaser also holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Florida (1988). She graduated cum laude from Stetson University College of Law in 1995. Ms. Glaser is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Sarasota County Bar Association and editor of the Association’s monthly publication – The Docket. Her current professional memberships include The Florida Bar, The Sarasota County Bar Association (SCBA), The Manatee County Bar Association (MCBA) and the Florida Association of Women Lawyers (FAWL). She has been president of Manatee FAWL for 2021-22. Active in the community, Ms. Glaser’s volunteer work has included leadership positions with the Women’s Resource Center of Sarasota, Manasota Legal Aid Clinic, Temple Emanu El Early Learning Center, Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast, Southwest Florida Figure Skating Club, Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School Parents’ Association. She has volunteered with Big Brothers, Big Sisters, and Take Stock in Children. She is an active member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW).
