About William B King
WILLIAM B. KING focuses on commercial litigation and personal injury litigation. Prior to joining Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley PA 17 years ago, he practiced law with the West Palm Beach firm of Moyle Flanigan Katz Fitzgerald and Sheehan. He also has served as Assistant State Attorney in Palm Beach County, and was an Assistant United States Attorney for the Middle District of Florida, where he was chief of the narcotics section. Mr. King is a member of The Florida Bar and The New Jersey Bar, and has been an adjunct professor of law at Nova University. After earning his undergraduate degree from Duke University, Mr. King received a law degree from Rutgers University, where he was an editor of the law review. He was law clerk to the Honorable C. Clyde Atkins, Judge of the US District Court in Miami. A longtime volunteer with young people, Mr. King was active in coaching youth sports for more than 20 years. He has served as a member of the board of directors of the South Florida Science Museum, and on the board of trustees of St. Peter’s Methodist Church in Wellington. He enjoys volunteering for Special Olympics.
