About William Battle McQueen
Mr. McQueen founded his boutique law partnership after furthering his legal education by obtaining an advanced law degree from the distinguished University of Miami Law School Graduate Program in Estate Planning. Because of his varied prior work and life experiences, Bill can view his clients' issues from many different perspectives and then provide effective solutions. He has worked as a CPA with an international accounting firm, an attorney-at-law with one of the largest Florida law firms, the President/CEO of a growing private family business, the President/COO of a Florida trust company, and a Principal with an international consulting firm. As a second generation native of St. Petersburg, Bill knows many other professionals in the Tampa Bay area to whom he can make qualilfied referrals for issues outside his area of focus. His extensive current and past community involvement and leadership include The Canterbury School of Florida (Past Chairman & Trustee), YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg (Past Chairman & Trustee), St. Anthony's Hospital (Trustee), St. Raphael's Catholic Church (Capital Campaign Chairman for new church), Museum of Fine Arts (Trustee), St. Petersburg Yacht Club (Director & Officer), City of St. Petersburg Board of Adjustment (Member), the Dragon Club (Past President and Director), Leadership St. Pete (Class of 1990), and Leadership St. Pete Alumni Association. Mr. McQueen has been the recipient of the West Coast Boy Scouts of America's Distinguished Citizen Award and the St. Anthony's Hospital Foundation Leadership Award. Bill and his wife Ria Davis (also a St. Petersburg native) live on Snell Isle with their 3 daughters.
