About William Chris Demas
William C. Demas was born in New York but has lived in Pinellas County since he was two years old. He has represented clients all over the country. He handles cases related to: ERISA Disability Social Security Disability Long Term and Short Term Disability Life Insurance Accidental Death and Dismemberment Mr. Demas received his undergraduate degree at Florida State University in 1994.  In 1997 he received his law degree from Stetson College of Law where he graduated Cum Laude. After law school, Mr. Demas went on to represent governmental agencies and large self-insureds for 11 years on disability and insurance matters. Since 2009, the majority of his clients have been consumers and individuals who have been injured, disabled and denied their rightful benefits by insurance companies or employers. Mr. Demas had the honor of being the youngest President elected to his Church Council in the Church's forty year history. He assisted in the writing of the Parish Youth Protection Guidelines for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America (the hierarchical governing body over all Greek Orthodox Churches in North America). He and his family are also active with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They have participated in numerous races and other events to raise money for the organization. Mr. Demas was also on the Executive Board of the 2010 Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night Walk. He also is a long time supporter of Paint Your Heart Out, an organization that paints houses for the elderly or disabled that are unable to either paint it themselves or unable to afford to have it done. Mr. Demas is married with three children. He is a practitioner of Krav Maga (combat fighting).
