William G. Warner is a founding partner of the firm. He defends Constitutional and federal statutory claims brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, Title VII, the ADA, ADEA and FMLA, state law claims for negligence and intentional torts and statutory claims brought under the Florida Civil Rights Act and Florida Public Whistleblower’s Act.
He also defends Land Use claims, including federal and state takings and the Bert J. Harris Private Property Rights Protection Act. He was admitted to practice law in all Florida courts in 1982. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
In 1977, Bill graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and minors in Political Science and Sociology. While in college, he was a four-year letterman on the USM Football team. He graduated from the Cumberland School of Law, at Samford University in 1982.
Before entering private practice in 1985, he served for three years as an Assistant State Attorney for the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida. Prior to attending law school, he served as a Deputy Sheriff with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana and as a Police Officer with the Hattiesburg Police Department, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
