About Yanique L. Otto
Attorney Yanique L. Otto attended the University of the West Indies where she studied psychology and human resource management. She graduated from Barry University, with a bachelors degree in psychology. She then earned a masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Otto worked in both business capacities, as well as counseling families with children who were victims of sexual abuse. Ms. Otto then went on to obtain a juris doctor degree at the Florida State University College of Law. She was the recipient of the prestigious Ladd Scholarship for all three years during her law school career.
Her experience working with families in various settings makes her uniquely positioned to handle legal family matters. She brings not just her knowledge of the law, but her professional understanding of the issues inherently related to many of those matters.
Ms. Otto is also a Florida Supreme Court Family Law Mediator, and heads up the firm's Peaceful Divorce Division.
When she's not working, she likes to relax at the beach, sing at her local church, and spend time with her six year old son.
