About Zachary Potter
The marital law, litigation boutiques of Fisher, Bendeck & Potter, P.L., and The Law Office of Benjamin T. Hodas merged on January 1, 2018, bringing partners Jeffrey Fisher, Zachary Potter, and Benjamin Hodas together in a single firm. The merger, Fisher Potter Hodas, PL, creates a partnership of attorneys who trained with Jeff Fisher while he litigated billions of dollars of divorce and asset recovery cases in Florida, New York, and around the country (as well as in international jurisdictions). Early in his career, Hodas worked with Fisher and then he founded his own firm, where Hodas became known, according to the Washington Post, “for handling [the] divorce cases of the wealthy in South Florida.” While operating his own firm, Hodas became a leader in the family law bar and built a reputation for skill in the courtroom as he represented owners of closely-held companies, professional athletes, and wealthy individuals in complex divorce cases. Meanwhile, Fisher and Potter grew their firm into a unique, national practice where they have been retained to represent individuals involved in some of the largest divorces in the country. In the article “How To Hide $400 Million,” the New York Times Magazine described the Fisher-Potter team as a “highly creative wealth squad” that litigates “cases that are equal parts divorce and white collar litigation.” In a four-year period of time, Fisher and Potter have handled divorces involving more than $5 billion in assets.
